HEPATITIS C
Screening and Treatment

Ask your Doctor or primary medical care provider if you have questions about HCV screening or treatment.

*If you don’t have health insurance or a health care provider, you can go to http://dhmh.state.md.us/mma/mmahome.cfm to access information about the Maryland Medical Assistance Program.  Individuals may be eligible for services depending upon income and other factors.  You can also contact your local (county or Baltimore City) Department of Social Services to ask about how you might get help.

*If you are a United States Military Veteran, contact the Baltimore VA Medical System at www.hepatitis.va.gov or call 1-800-463-6295.

*To learn if you might be eligible for treatment as a study participant, go to www.clinicaltrials.gov.  This website gives you information about a trial’s purpose who may participate, locations and phone numbers for more details.

*If you do not have insurance and you do not qualify for Medical Assistance or any of the options listed here, call your Local Health Department.
